Remembrance Day Convention 2011: Calvary UPC, Woodstock, New Brunswick...

An honor guard silently stands guard at the memorial cenotaph in Woodstock for Remembrance day 2011 ceremonies. Throughout Canada, every city honors the dead of past military conflicts, especially those of the Great War (WW1). World War 1 hostilities ended on the eleventh month, the eleventh day, at the eleventh hour (Remembrance Day in Canada). So ceremonies across Canada begin at 11:00 a.m.
Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada held its annual Remembrance Day Convention 2011 on November 11-13, 2011, and I was privileged to preach the convention's services. Pastor Craig Sully and the Calvary
church family were such excellent hosts, and they created an amazing atmosphere of worship in each service. As a result, the Lord inhabited our praise, anointed the preaching, and touch lives with His Spirit in a wonderful way. The altar services were mightily blessed and everyone in the sanctuary were impacted by His touch and love.

Friday's Remembrance Day service featured a military honor guard comprised of Calvary UPC active duty and veteran members who accompanied the Canadian colors during the national anthem, O Canada. God's presence filled the service and His hand was on all in attendance.
IN FLANDERS FIELDS
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead: Short days ago,
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved: and now we lie
In Flanders fields!
Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you, from failing hands, we throw
The torch: be yours to hold it high
If ye break faith with us who die,
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
We are so very thankful for the special anointing that was upon our services. Many were impacted not only be the Word, but by His personal touch in their lives. All the altar services were extended and each of us were overwhelmed as the Holy Ghost ministered so intimately.

Special thanks and appreciation to Pastor Craig Sully and Sister Lyna Sully both of whom supported the services with exceptional anointing and lead us into worship so effectively. Their outstanding hospitality and fellowship was such a blessing to me. I look forward to being with the Calvary UPC church family in the future.
