Visiting with Family and Having Good Fellowship
Victory Apostolic Church, Winnsboro, Louisiana
February 21-28th

Recently, June has been assisting her parents in dealing with some serious health issues.  Her father was hospitalized two weeks ago, but is doing relatively well now.  June continues to help her parents any way she can.  Her father has had a minor setback, and we are hopeful that will be resolved this week.

While we are in Winnsboro, Pastor Wayne Smith graciously invited us to minister at Victory Apostolic Church during several regular services.  Pastor Smith is one of our dearest friends, and he has such a compassionate heart and love for the work of God.  We enjoyed a deep move of God's Spirit in every service.  Our altar services were very blessed and the church family was encouraged and inspired.  It is always an honor to be with Pastor Smith and the Victory Apostolcs!  June and I want to express our appreciation and thanks for their warm hospitality and kindness to us.f the Lord, and a church dedicated to prayer - the key to continuing revival.  Pastor & Sister Kirk Mayo have an effective ministry and the church family is so excited

Great Services in Aimwell, Louisiana!
Aimwell Pentecostal Church, Aimwell, Louisiana
February 14th

I had the opportunity to be back in Aimwell, Louisiana in mid-February, and it was a joy to see the church growth, a powerful presence of the Lord, and a church dedicated to prayer - the key to continuing revival.  Pastor & Sister Kirk Mayo have an effective ministry and the church family is so excited about what God is doing in their midst.  It is always an honor to be with the Aimwell Pentecostals.  They respond so well to the Word of God and they love preachers.  Both services had the endorsement of His Spirit and we were all impacted by a wonderful move of the Holy Ghost in the prayer room before service.  It was also great to see Elder Shorty Mayo, one of my favorite people!

May the Lord continue to provide strong church growth in numbers and allow His Spirit to take complete control in every service and member.  The Aimwell Pentecostal Church has been a great blessing to me, and I am privileged to minister there.  I expect to hear about more of God's blessings on this wonderful pastor and church family.

It was Holy Ghost Time in Diggins!
Diggins Apostolic Church, Diggins, Missouri
January 24-February 10th

After a visit with June's parents, Brother & Sister L. J. Davis, we traveled to Diggins, Missouri about 20 miles East of Springfield.  This was the first time we had met Pastor & Sister Bruce Herion, and quickly discovered what hospitable and godly people they are.  God blessed our services from the beginning and souls began to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  The Herion's were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed every opportunity we had with them for fellowship and to talk about the work of God.  As it turned out Sister Herion and June were so much alike that it was amazing.  They established a wonderful friendship from the start.  During our second week of revival, Pastor Herion suggested we extend the service for an additional week.  We adjusted our schedule and we were happy to continue to minister as the Lord gave the increase.  What anointed services!  God was having His way in each service and the church family was being encouraged and blessed as well.  These services were some of the very best we have experienced since going on the field.  Thank the Lord for His mighty Spirit working in His Church.

One of the great joys of June and I was our connection with the Diggins Apostolic young people.  We had a wonderful time with them.  I used a young man in one of my sermons and I always kept the young people engaged in my ministry.  And they responded by powerful, sincere worship and were always there in their support of our services.  The Herions have a tremendous group of young people who are respectful, well-dressed and love God's Word - that's a powerful gift from the Lord.

Amazing Services and Sessions!
Because of the Times, Alexandria, Louisiana
January 19-21st

What a wonderful time we had at Because of the Times! Each year, the services and sessions are such a blessing and inspire every pastor and evangelist to greater spiritual and church growth.  This year, the theme was simply, "LEAD." The POA sanctuary was completely packed with ministers from North American and around the globe - all were tremendously impacted by each session and message.

June and I were also blessed to attend BOTT with Brother and Sister Thomas Johnson from Connersville, Indiana.  This was their very first BOTT, and they enjoyed it immensely.  Thomas and Amy are dear friends, and they were challenged to go back to Connersville with a greater determination to win the lost and disciple saints effectively as never before.  We also had more fellowship with Pastor & Sister Nathaniel Kallam from Navarre, Florida.  We had preached for them a few months ago, and fell in love with these fine folks.  As you can see, we also had some good times "dining" together.

We all were so blessed and ready to go back into the field with more zeal and determination.  We also had such a wonderful time with our friends and fellowlaborers.  God was gracious to us to be a small part of BOTT 2010 and to receive His direction, will and glory.  You can also see there were some interesting personalities in attendance.

The Year's First Revival Was So Blessed!
First Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, Louisiana
January 10-13th

We opened the new year with tremendous revival services at The First Pentecostal Church of Jonesville, Louisiana.  Pastor & Sister Jack Knapp have been laboring there for many years.  Brother Knapp is the former Louisiana District Superintendent for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Each service was so very blessed - from the opening worship to the special singing to the ministry of the Word of God - the Lord was in control.  Our altar services were anointed and extended as we longed to remain in the presence of the Lord.  There were several guests, and the Spirit of the Lord impacted them as well as the church family. June and I visited with my brother, Bill, and his wife, Lou, during this time, and that was an additional blessing.  Bill and I played some instrumentals together (he on the trumpet and I on the soprano sax), and I always enjoy that. The Knapps are such wonderful friends, and we enjoyed our fellowship together and the warm hospitality of these dear folks.  We look forward to being with them again soon when we return to Louisiana in May.
